We meet you on arrival at Delhi International Airport, and transfer to your hotel, In the afternoon we have arranged an introductory tour of Old Delhi, amongst the highlights of which are to the Magnificent Red Fort and the immense Jama Masjid, able to accommodate 25,000 worshippers. The capital designed by Lut and characterised by wide, tree-lines boulevards and magnificent colonial buildings - during which you will see India Gate, the President’s Palace and visit Qutab Minar, and 800 year old celebration of the Muslim conquest of Delhi. The rest of the day at leisure.

A fascinating drive through the north Indian countryside takes you to Agra, where, in the evening a tour of the city includes Agra Fort and the subline of Taj Mahal. Overnight in Agra.

Morning at leisure. Afternoon your journey takes you via Fatehpur Sikri, the perfectly preserved abandoned sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar, to Jaipur. Check into your hotel for three nights.

This morning, we proceed to visit Amber Fort, the final ascent to which is made on elephant-back. The rest of the day is at leisure.
